9th April 2011

We went to Malham Cove and Tarn today as a day trip from Liverpool. It has taken me over 45 years to make it to Malham. I learned about limestone karst scenery and limestone pavements for “O’ level geography. I have waited all this time and was not disappointed. We did a beautiful 5 mile walk to Gordale and Malham cove before driving to Malham tarn. All in the Yorkshire Dales national park. Beautiful, some pictures below. In order: Janet’s force, Gordale force, Malham limestone pavement and Malham Cove.

  1. Well done, Jenny! I was wondering only the other day how your running was coming along …

Hope all’s well with you all.
